1. Acceptance of Minutes
Motion was made by Beverly Potvin Kenniston and seconded by James Dillon. It was voted to approve the minutes of the March 15, 2010 meeting.
2. Miscellaneous Items

The assessors continued to review real estate abatement applications. This is the end of the abatement application cycle for Fiscal Year 2010.
Letters with abatement certificates or denial certificates will be mailed to the remaining applicants.
The Vision Appraisal Software Users Group meeting has been cancelled for this year due to the current economy.
The assessors discussed the current office-staffing situation. The Senior Excise Clerk position has not been filled due to budget deficits. This is putting serious strain on personnel and it is our hope this that this position will be filled before the vacation season.
The assessors have begun to prepare for the Fiscal Year 2010 Preliminary Tax Bills. New construction is being inspected and listed. It is our intention to add new value growth to the preliminary tax bills.
Our next meeting will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 4:30 P.M.
